The 4th generation of the iPhone device would probably be the early adopter OEM Super Samsung AMOLED display, according to some rumors. But these are just rumors for now. Sources also suggest that Apple still has some concerns about the energy consumption of the iPhone 4G especially when used for web browsing and email.

The energy consumption of OLED displays depends on content, so when the iPhone is used for web browsing and email that include content too heavy, Apple is concerned that it will consume too much power. The suggestions are to use white background and black or blue for e-mail letters to reduce energy consumption.

If Apple was to opt for an OLED display for iPhone 4G, Samsung would be the best company that could work with Apple, as are the one who is able to meet the required volume by Apple. And the two companies have had a good partnership before. Interview with CEO compensation by I4U also believes Apple to use Super Samsung AMOLED display on their iPhone 4G.
