Level radiation from cellphones is not a joke. San Francisco Environment Department takes very seriously, considering that the radiation level is displayed next to the sticker price of a phone, starting as early as next month.

The proposal is being supported by Mayor Gavin Newsom, although no scientific research shows that cell phones cause cancer and the FCC’s insistence that the devices sold to customers is safe.
