4th generation iPhone may be coming in April 2010

Rumors go all the way from South Korea, saying the 4th generation iPhone may be coming in April 2010. And the new iPhone will likely be equipped with an OLED display, video-chat capabilities, along with the performance of the battery much faster and flexible.

The information was published by the Korean newspaper, Korea Times, which claims it has the current iPhone’s career in Korea, KT Telecom. The source said that the iPhone 4G will come with dual-core CPU, which is the first time in the smart phone industry and probably a new CPU ARM Cortex A9 in development.

The iPhone 4G also allows the battery to be removable, which has been the main complaint for the passage of three generations of iPhone. With flexible and removable battery, users can use after market batteries to extend the usage time.

There will also be a front-facing camera for video calls dedicated, along with a high performance camera principal. KT expects the 4G iPhone launch in June 2010 and can plan for their corporate customers to test as soon as April.

C-motech has got a dual-mode USB modem, U-301, which supports both 3G CDMA and the 4G WiMax networks, and slated to be released via Sprint starting in December. The C-motech dual-mode USB modem provides download and upload speeds up to 10MB/s and 4MB/s respectively while it’s connected on 4G WiMax. And providing download/upload speeds of 3.1/1.8 MB/s while it’s on 3G CDMA.

The little device uses a 65nm Qualcomm QSC6085 chipset for CDMA and a 65nm Beceem BCSM250 chipset for WiMax. It supports Windows XP, Vista and also Windows 7.
