Yotaro, a robotic baby simulator has been developed by researchers led by Hiroki Kunimura at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. The baby robot simulator has an interactive display that functions as your face. The baby robot can represent a variety of facial expressions, movements and physiological characteristics, like a real baby. Reacts to users through a sophisticated control system emotion that indicates a reaction to accompany users. Besides all the mentioned reactions, the baby robot can even mourn real tears on her face 2-D.
Although this robotic baby is only a research prototype, there should be no surprise that one day the Japanese mass produced. Some Japanese too busy and not have “time” to have babies, so once they get older, most likely need this baby interactive robot to accompany them in life. A clip is attached below shows the baby theft in action.
