Skiff, another e-Book reader trying to share a bite with Amazon Kindle
Skiff, another electronic book reader that is trying to share a bite with the Amazon Kindle. It even took the title as the largest electronic book reader Amazon Kindle, the DX. With a screen size of 11.5 inches, definitely deserves to be crowned as the largest e-Book reader.
The E-book reader Skiff has a touch screen 11.5 inches with 1600 x 1200 resolution making it ideal for designing newspapers. The touch screen can be operated using a finger or a pencil. The Skiff has 4GB of onboard storage, with more than 3 GB reserved for content and is expandable via SD cards.
The Skiff has a headphone jack 3.5mm melodies. Content can be uploaded via the mini USB port or downloaded via WiFi. It will be mounted at Sprint, which also offers 3G connectivity to download content on the boat. Although many gadgets are sized down, but for an e-Book reader, the larger will be more comfortable for the users and easily show that traditional newspapers do.
It can be bent and the measures a quarter of an inch thick simple. It is coming to Sprint retail stores sometime this year, while the price is still unknown.
