USB 3.0 hub controller, VL810, at CES

VIA has announced its first World USB 3.0 Hub Controller, VL810, at CES. The VIA USB 3.0 Hub Controller VL810 has one upstream USB 3.0 port and four downstream USB 3.0 ports, allowing up to four high bandwidth of USB 3.0 devices connected to it, at the same time.

The VIA SuperSpeed VL810 (USB 3.0) Controller Hub will be potentially the guts of many future USB 3.0 ports centers offer four USB 3.0 to USB 3.0-compatible with the gadgets. It is also compatible with other USB specifications, including USB 2.0 (480Mbps, Hi-Speed), USB 1.1 (12Mbps, Full-Speed) and USB 1.0 (1.5 Mbps low speed).
