Netgear PTV1000 Push TV Adapter 2 has passed the FCC. It is an adapter that allows your laptop to stream video and audio wirelessly to the TV via WiFi. The device uses Intel’s Wireless Display technology that requires a Core i3, i5 and i7 GMA graphics cards with HD and Windows 7.
The video adapter Netgear WiFi official yet, the documents say that the device may not be able to play all DVDs and Blu Ray. No information on pricing and availability is available at the time. CES would probably be where you’d like more information.
If real, this could be a very convenient that eliminates tangled wires between computer and TV. While you have WiFi, you can post videos on their computers or the Internet like YouTube videos wirelessly to your TV.
