The 13.3-inch VAIO-Z laptop is the Sony’s flagship machine
The 13.3-inch VAIO Z notebook is the flagship of the Sony machine, which will receive an update by the company to introduce quad SSD and interchangeable graphics. An entry in the VAIO-Z will get good specifications including Intel Core i7 processor, 6 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 330M GT graphics and quad 256GB SSD packed in a form factor of 13.3 inches.
The quad-SSD in VAIO-Z lets you use RAID in a single band, which increases the burden of data unit to 6.2 times faster than a regular laptop 5400rpm HDD. Another interesting feature is the switchable graphics, which allows you to choose options for the powerful NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics or integrated energy performance to save power.
Thus, when in game or watch HD movies, you must choose NVIDIA, and when you’re down to do simple tasks such as word processors, you can switch to integrated graphics to conserve battery power.
One of these Sony VAIO Z notebook upgrade will run you about $ 1,900, will be available in the U.S. Europe in April and contract before the end of March.
