Mitsubishi had proposed their first scalable OLED screen technology
Mitsubishi has proposed its first scalable OLED display technology that makes the units of 10 × 10 cm square CETEC Japan 2009. They have now completed a 1920mm x 3264mm 149-inch OLED TV and showed off in ISE-2010 in Amsterdam. The OLED TV from Mitsubishi or 149 measures 6.2 inches diagonally, which is higher than in the market.
The 149-inch OLED TV has a resolution of 1088 pixels x 640 pixels at 3 mm pixel size, which provides sharp images and vibrant, and may even see a short distance. The OLED TV will produce a light output of 1500cd / m². The production unit will be several times brighter than an LCD, which is suitable for use indoors or in bright places.
The modular approach allows construction of Mitsubishi televisions very thin and lightweight. Without edges of its OLED display modules can also join with others to produce seamless displays of virtually any size and shape, including curves.
