Track your dogs on your mobile phone
The Retrieva’s GPS dog collar has got a new version which makes use of ViewRanger software technology to allow you to use your mobile phone to track your pets.
The ViewRanger software is to be installed on your mobile phone and able to communicate with the GPS dog collar via SMS text. It also shows you on your phone with information about the speed of your dog is traveling and the direction it’s heading. The software also combines the information with the street maps, to let you have better visualization of the whereabout of your dog.
Other new features in the ViewRanger software include global map coverage and better reporting of pet collar’s status such as its battery life. This new mobile phone tracking ability is included in the new firmware within the Retrieva collars and within the latest ViewRanger sat-nav software, which is included in-the-box with every dog collar.
The entire mobile phone dog tracking system doesn’t come in cheap. The new Retrieva dog collar costs you £200 or $300.70 USD and it runs you additional £9.99 ($15 USD) per month to cover all network communications.
