In the race to produce top-notch smartphones, Samsung seem to have taken a route wrong for all good reason, delivering the SCH-W880, a 3G enabled cameraphone featuring a 12MP camera, with 3x optical zoom. Is it a phone in a camera or a camera in a phone, difficult to understand, but whatever it is, it’s a breathtaking delight there.
Other reckoning features of the cameraphone include720p video recording, WiFi, GPS, dedicated camera controls, and a 800 x 480 3.3-inch AMOLED display. To be made available in Korean markets in October, the phone’s touchscreen makes provisions for touch auto focus, while the camera’s genius offers face detection image stabilization and Smart Auto (selecting scene according to environment automatically). No word on the price and when it is coming overseas, but I need one already.

Realistically, it is a phone in a camera. I have heard wide price range estimates so far myself so I guess we will have to wait and see. I can’t wait for its arrival!
