The solar-powered Puma Phone Business
Puma, the brand that was heard mostly related to sports and the arts brings, is now in the mobile phone business. Puma is partnering with Sagem Wireless have created and Puma announced the phone at the Mobile World Congress.
Puma The Phone looks very similar to the previous Palm, but not the slider. It comes equipped with a solar panel which makes it ideal for battery at any place as long as sunlight is available. The phone allows 2 hours of music playback or sending 30 messages after it has charged under “the sun half” for an hour. A full charge will give you 5 hours of talk time, 350 hours standby and 24 hours of music playback.
The Phone Puma has a 2.8 inch screen is pretty small, but Puma’s claims of the user interface is “thumbable” that ensures one-hand operation. The phone also includes a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS tracking and Geo-tagging capabilities, Blueotooth, pedometer, 3D accelerometer, a timer and cycle tracker. Apparently it is a phone designed for geeks with intense sports activities.
The phone also features FM radio Puma, who can pull sports live feed World Puma and mobile commerce. It is also loaded with an application that allows users to customize and arts and the new order of things in the Puma online store. The music player on this phone Puma also added some fun, showing a vinyl player software when the music plays, which allows users to Virtual Scratch songs. It is due in April and should be priced around 250 € (about $ 394 USD) mark.
