Customers of Vodafone and Verizon get himself aware of a spam message that carries a Trojan and will get to your inbox at any time. The email will come in the form indicating that your account has exceeded the limit. This email looks like it came from Verizon and Vodafone with the theme “The balance above your credit limit, and also offers an attached” corrective balance “for you to verify your payment.
But in reality the so-called “equilibrium correction” which is a zip file, is actually a Trojan horse that can do more damage. The email also includes phrases such as “Please use the attached Verizon (and Vodafone) Balance Checker tool to review and analyze your payments” to lure you into opening it. Once you open the attachment, then you’ll get infected with a trojan called RegRun.
This “Balance Checker” basically Trojan opens a backdoor on the computer, which then downloads malicious software from the Zbot botnet. And his team will probably be used to hijack bank accounts online, which is what is good Zbot botnet. If you happened to have received an email with many similarities to what have been mentioned, remember not to click or run any of the attachments and delete at once.
