How 3G VOIP calls on the iPhone
One of the good news is that Apple has lifted restrictions against VOIP calls 3G iPhone SDK. This allows any future version of VoIP applications to make use of 3G to make VOIP calls.
Due to the above restrictions on the iPhone SDK, all VoIP applications like Skype can only make VoIP calls via WiFi. But now, with the restrictions removed, future versions of VOIP programs may use the 3G network, which is more convenient for users of 3G Internet access is widely available through your cellular provider, as which makes it easier for you to make free VoIP calls while on the run.
From the recently announced iPad also comes with 3G support and has a built-in microphone and speaker, should be able to take advantage of VoIP over 3G as well. The first application that allows VOIP calls via the 3G Apple iPhone is the iCall. Updates should be more VoIP applications for Apple’s gadgets, which come with the support of VoIP over 3G in the near future.
