Here comes a USB hub that its appearance is much less attractive than the leading roles. Although this is a retro look, but offers more. Indicator as it has led its kind in each port, so you can just take a look to see which ports are connected. Some more, each of the USB port USB hub has a switch on / off, so you can have complete control and easy to connect or disconnect a USB device by pressing the switch only. This USB hub works $ 88, which sounds hard for most people. The entire device measures 167 × 67 × 31mm and is available in Japan. No information if you could get elsewhere.

LTE (Long Term Evolution) is the next big step in mobile Internet connectivity. It is considered 4G (4th generation), which offers data transfer rates (about 50 Mbps) much faster than existing networks 3G/HSPA.
ZyXEL has announced its first global fixed LTE CPE / SOHO router, which is what you need for your home or office ready for 4G connectivity of the Internet. The ZyXEL router lets you share LTE 4G wireless high-speed Internet access. It offers a couple of VoIP ports, with a 4-center function of a LAN port, 802.11n wireless switch and a USB port lets you connect to a USB printer or storage to share. Cat keepers will find this device useful, although it’s just a DIY version. The Internet-enabled cat feeder allows you to leave your cats at home while you’re busy at your work place, and they’ll be served with their meals at right time.
The Internet-enabled car feeder was built by Mathew Newton and he’s got a self-explanatory video below which details the instructions on how to build one by yourself. Well, building one of these is not easy. You’ll need some knowledge of programming and even modifying a Cisco switch, although it may not be necessary to be a Cisco-certified.
So what does this special cat feeder do for you? It presents you a web interface that shows you stream of feeds of what’s going on at home, so you can get the feeder to feed the cats at right time. The device has a cereal dispenser which is controlled by signals from port status LEDs on a Cisco switch. The device also allows you to set your feed schedule so it’ll automatically feed your kitties at the scheduled time.

Addonics Mini NAS surely grab away the title “world’s smallest NAS” from Thecus N0204. Being in a small school size, slightly longer and wider than a hard drive, this little NAS definitely deserves to be world’s smallest NAS.
But it should not be an apple to apple comparison between the two NASes. The Addonics Mini NAS comes with the bay just not possible for any RAID configuration. It comes integrated with a fast connection to Ethernet 10/100 Mbps, is compatible with any SATA 2.5 inch HDD or SSD.
