Next generation of high-def TV will be defined as UHDTV

The next generation of HDTV is defined as UHDTV – Ultra HDTV. The resolution of the UHDTV quadruples 1080p (1920 x 1080) full HD TV today, which has a resolution of 3840 x 2160. LG has one, a 84-inch LCD TV.
With this super-high-definition television you will be able to see things in much greater detail. As shown in the picture above, would very likely be able to identify that the lashes of the girl have split ends up having a look on a UHDTV. It’s probably another decade for this UHDTV to be available in the market.

The 152-inch Plasma TV is capable of displaying a format called 4K

As shown is the largest plasma TV in the land. This super large HDTV Panasonic has shown at CES, measures 152 inches diagonally. It is located 6.5 meters high and 11.5 meters wide, about the size of nine 50-inch sets.
The 152-inch Plasma TV is capable of showing a format called 4K, which consists of super high resolution of 4096 x 2160 and 8 million pixels, four times that of 1920 x 1080p 2 million pixel. And it has wider aspect ratio of 17:9. No word on price. Not surprisingly, it will be super expensive that only multi-millionaires could afford.

One thing you can be sure about the LCD TV panels remain slice thickness. Now, the thinnest in the world has been crowned in the panel on the recently announced by LG, which measures only 2.6 mm thin. This latest ultra slim LG TV panel is 50% thinner than previous models from LG. The screen size is 42 inches and is able to offer full HD content in 1080p (1920 x 1080). The panel weight of this super thin TV is 4kg.
It uses an ultra thin, edge-lit LED backlight system. Due to the super slim body, the integrated TV tuner is coming in a separate box. Full details and price of this ultra slim LG panel will only be revealed at CES in January next year. So stay tuned!
