However, other associated devices and HTPCs (Home Theater PC) or media servers and set-top boxes are still very large in size that they normally occupy an important place in her small apartment.

The 3770 PC Media Piixl EdgeCenter is an exceptional, very slim, only 30mm in depth, which can slide it behind any flat screen TV or a screen measuring between 37 and 70 inches. AND no one will mind that there’s a PC behind the TV.

It is fast enough to handle any home theater task and should be the best replacement for your existing home theater equipment, so you can save more space.

Simulation of IBM’s largest brain works as well as the brain of a cat (only)

supercomputer-brain-simulator-450x261

The human brain is too complex, the largest brain simulator built by IBM, led by a 147,456 processor supercomputer, can only reach the level of the brain of a cat. This simulator was developed brain through the center of IBM’s Almaden research. It consists of 1.6 billion neurons connected by virtual synapses 9 trillion, which is almost a cell at a simulation of the human visual cortex.

With all the mass components, over 150,000 gigabytes of memory and energy consumption of more than million watts, the simulator is as good as the brain of a cat. However, the achievement is much better than the smaller rat brain simulator that did two years ago.
